This qualification is aimed at aspiring or current leaders in childcare and early years settings. It focuses on leading and managing teams, meeting regulatory requirements, leading safeguarding practice, and driving high-quality provision that improves outcomes for children and families — preparing you for managerial and senior practitioner roles.

Entry requirements

  • Aged 19 or over
  • Currently working in, or aspiring to, a management or senior role in childcare
  • A Level 3 childcare qualification or significant sector experience
  • Strong English skills (written assignments are required)
