The Level 2 Diploma in Care provides learners with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to work confidently and compassionately within the health and social care sector. This course equips individuals with the foundations of safe practice, effective communication, dignity, safeguarding, and person-centred care—ensuring they are fully prepared to support vulnerable adults across a variety of care settings.

At Keyznow you will learn through tutor-led sessions, one-to-one support and workplace observation, building a portfolio of evidence that shows your competence in real care settings. If you are not currently working in care, we can help connect you with partner care agencies for placements.

Entry requirements

  • Aged 16 or over
  • A good standard of spoken and written English
  • Working, volunteering or on placement in a care setting (we can help arrange a placement)
  • No previous qualifications required
