Course overview

Designed for those beginning their career in early years settings, this course builds foundational skills in supporting young children’s development from birth to age five. Learners gain understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, play-based learning, communication, and building positive relationships. It prepares learners for hands-on roles in nurseries, preschools, and early learning environments.

You will learn through tutor-led sessions and practical experience in a setting, with our tutors visiting to observe and support your practice.
